==Synopsis==
  +
[[Jas Wilkins]] boasts about her family recipe to make an omelet out of a [[deathclaw]]'s egg. To test her claim, the Courier needs to find a [[deathclaw egg]].

==Walkthrough==

==Walkthrough==
* Travel to the city of [[Sloan]] and locate [[Jas Wilkins]] inside the Mess Hall.
+
* To start the quest, talk to Jas at the mess hall in [[Sloan]] and ask about the [[deathclaw]] [[wasteland omelet]]. She will ask for a [[deathclaw egg]] to try the recipe out.
* Speak to her about the tastiest thing ever eaten to discuss a [[deathclaw]] omelet, known as a [[wasteland omelet]] in your Pip-Boy.
+
* Multiple deathclaw eggs are available in [[Quarry Junction]], inside the deathclaw den. They also randomly drop from deathclaws. However, the [[gypsum train yard]] can be a better choice for hunting, as [[blind deathclaw]]s only spawn at higher levels and deathclaw eggs can still be found on the spot.
* Travel to [[Quarry Junction]] and locate at least one [[deathclaw egg]].

* Return to Sloan and give the egg to Jas to complete the quest.

==Notes==

Several deathclaw eggs can be found in a den in the west side of the quarry's ground level, behind a large construction vehicle.

Since eggs have a chance to drop randomly from a deathclaw, it is not necessary to go to the quarry to find one. For example, you can instead attempt to gain one by traveling to the [[Gypsum Train Yard]] and defeating the deathclaws there. Because there are no special deathclaws at that location (save for [[blind deathclaw]]s at higher levels), it is potentially less hazardous than the quarry.
