I'm convinced there's a secret in here. I can't figure it out though, and perhaps I'm being crazy. BUT, the bell and the cat don't add up? I feel like there's something you can do with the bell to make something happen, I tried hitting the bell corresponding to the numbers on the cash register (one hit, two hits, one hit, three hits), of course nothing happened. This is my first bethesda game so I don't really know if they do stuff like this, but they keep saying that not all the secrets have been found. Also I lost all my save data when my ps4 broke so if it has anything to do with requiring a certain level of something im probably not high enough level.only spent about 20 minutes messing around but yeah, just thinking out loud basically. Thoughts?

Id's revival of the series last year might have given the classic Doom mod scene a bit of a boost (or at least a little more press coverage), but 2017's spree of manic activity from one of the oldest and strongest mod scenes out there was entirely attributable to the community.
The game may be 24 years old, but Doom mods are cooler than ever, democratically speaking. The masses have been heard, and ModDB's Player's Choice award for best mod of 2017 goes to Sgt Mark IV's splatteriffic and ambitious Brutal Doom, which saw a major new beta release this month.

One of the most common complaints leveled at Brutal Doom is that by changing the core game's balance so much, it doesn't pair up well with most commonly played level packs, vanilla Doom 2 & expansions included. Firstly, if you play the original Doom 2 campaign, you'll find many of the levels remixed and enhanced so as to better match the style of the mod. This is an entirely optional feature, but an interesting one.

Giant stompy robots make everything better. Well, almost everything. Masonry doesn't seem to fare so well, as brick, mortar and stone don't stand up too well to the rigors of alternate-history mechanized warfare, as we can see in this little peek at Iron Harvest, King Art Games' new RTS in development.
It's been over a year since we last took a peek at this promising game of stompy robots in an alternate-earth 1920s, and it's looking no worse for wear.
Iron Harvest is looking solid, but it's a good ways off still. Fortunately, we've got everything the aspiring strategist could ever hope to play in the meantime.
More than anything, the gameplay shown here reminds me of DigitalMindSoft's excellent (if anarchic) Men of War series, which simulate the chaos of the battlefield to such a degree that a shell can ricochet off a dead tank hull, fly halfway across the map and air-burst above a vital infantry squad, changing the entire course of a battle though improbable bad luck and impressively simulated physics.

Met 2018 voor de deur mag je bijna alweer het laatste blaadje van je scheurkalender trekken, maar niet zonder eerst met een opgewekt gevoel naar de afgelopen twaalf maanden terug te kijken. Dit jaar kent namelijk enkele ijzersterke games die de redacteurs van Eurogamer Benelux met alle liefde nog een keer in het zonnetje zetten. Sander kwam net lang genoeg boven water van zijn tweede Persona 5 sessie om uit te leggen wat hem bezielt om nog eens zoveel tijd in de game te steken.
Honderddrieëntwintig uur en drie kwartier. Zoveel tijd heb ik met veel liefde in Persona 5 gestoken. Toen de aftiteling over het scherm rolde, kon ik vol voldoening zeggen dat ik de beste JRPG van 2017 had uitgespeeld. Uit gewoonte verwijderde ik de game van mijn PlayStation 4, want ik ben een 'one and done'-speler. Als ik een game heb uitgespeeld, dan ben ik er ook klaar mee. Maar deze keer was het anders. Het begon al met het feit dat ik niet kon ophouden met naar de soundtrack te luisteren, maar zo gek is dat nog niet eens. Ik wist dat ik nog niet alles in de game had gezien en hoewel ik daar normaliter mijn schouders voor ophaal, installeerde ik Persona 5 nu opnieuw om nog één keer door de digitale straten van Tokyo te struinen.
Mijn eerste playthrough van de game draaide om optimalisatie: welke acties mij de hoogste stat boosts gaven en hoe ik het best mijn team kon levelen. Het kwam de combat ten goede, dat zeker. Het is alsof je voor de allereerste keer een pretpark bezoekt, of op vakantie gaat. Je maakt een plan om zoveel mogelijk gedaan te krijgen in dat kleine beetje tijd dat je hebt, en er is geen ruimte voor speling of verloren minuten. En hoewel dat an sich prima is, kun je nog zoveel meer beleven als je het allemaal nét wat relaxter aanpakt. Alsof je het volledige pretpark bezoekt in plaats van alleen de attracties.

Jim French, actor behind Father Grigori and Left 4 Dead’s Bill, has passed away
Earlier this week, Jim French, the voice behind Valve favourites like Father Grigori and Bill, passed away at the age of 89.
French had a lengthy career before games, having been a radio presenter and producer since the 1950s. He had written and produced over 800 programs, including many by his own radio drama program Imagination Theatre.
His first game role was in the commercial Half-Life mod Gunman Chronicles, but he’s best known to fans for his work on titles from Valve proper. He voiced the grim priest Father Grigori in Half-Life 2, the Fisherman in Lost Coast, and the gritty Vietnam veteran Bill in Left 4 Dead. He also voices the Elder Titan in Dota 2.

A Kansas man is dead after an alleged swatting incident
Last night, local news sources reported that a Wichita, Kansas man was shot and killed by police after they were falsely informed of a hostage situation at a local home. Members of the Call of Duty community report that this was the result of a swatting prank between two players unrelated to the man who was killed.
Those reports have been collected by Dexerto, and they point to a $1.50 wager on UMG as the source of the dispute between players. One player reportedly provided false information about his home address in an effort to “seem tough,” pointing to a nearby address in Wichita.

Yes, Destiny 2 still puts a cap on earning glimmer
There’s another cap in Destiny 2 set to limit the amount of resources you can gain by farming, and like the old XP scaling system it’s not exactly presented in the most transparent way. There’s a limit to how much glimmer you can earn at a time, which can leave you facing hordes of enemies without the in-game currency reward you might expect. But before you grab your pitchfork, bear in mind that this same cap was in place for the first Destiny.

Some (admittedly unscientific) testing on Reddit revealed that the earning cap still exists. After you’ve earned around 400 glimmer from killing enemies, the currency stops dropping. Wait a while and you can start earning again, but with a slightly smaller cap.
