World Health Organization consider recognizing “gaming disorder” as a mental health condition

The World Health Organization have plans to add a “gaming disorder” to their list of recognized mental health conditions. A draft of the 2018 edition of their diagnostic manual features gaming disorder listed alongside gambling disorder as conditions “due to addictive behaviours.”
