The Overwatch World Cup is set to return for a third year. Blizzard have just announced that the 2018 tournament will begin later today.
Here's everything we know about the Overwatch League - we've a feeling it might come in handy.
Blizzard say that “from today through the end of Competitive Season 9 (April 28), we’ll be tracking the average skill rating of each country’s top 150 players.” The top 20 countries at the end of the season will be invited to compete at this year’s Overwatch World Cup. The group stages for this year’s tournaments will be hosted by defending champions South Korea, as well as France, Thailand, and the USA. All four of these nations will qualify automatically for the tournament, meaning a total of 24 competing teams.
