Hitman 2 is coming. That’s something we’ve been able to piece together via a number of hints over the last week, in the same way you build up a picture of a Hitman level - through slow observation, and sometimes an astute change of clothes.
Developer IO Interactive are most likely building to a full reveal at new publisher Warner Bros’ pre-E3 showcase, which just so happens to be later on today, at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 6 PM BST. WB Games have been teasing the livestream for the better part of three days - so it seems they have something substantial to show us.
You're a fan of undirected murder, are you? Check out the best sandbox games on PC. You psychopath.
We’ve been expecting another Hitman ever since IO started referring to the last game as ‘The Complete First Season’, which rather suggests there’s going to be a Season 2. The Hitman reboot proved to be a return to form for the series, after the leaden and muddled Absolution, so expect IO to build on the same sandbox formula they’ve perfected over the past few years.
We've been tracking developments on Hitman 2 all week, but join us for a more comprehensive account of its movements below.
