Neo Geo Mini aangekondigd

SNK heeft de Neo Geo Mini via een presentatie op YouTube onthuld.

De kleine console bevat veertig games en is in de vorm van een klassieke Neo Geo MVS arcadekast. Het display is 3.5 inch groot, maar je kunt hem ook op de tv aansluiten. De console bevat geen inwendige batterij, en SNK raadt aan dat je een powerbank gebruik om de console als handheld te gebruiken.

In de presentatie worden alle games getoond die op de console zijn geïnstalleerd. Er zijn twee versies van de console, één voor Japan en één voor het internationale publiek. De internationale versie bevat 14 andere games dan de Japanse versie, waardoor de nadruk meer op actiegames dan op fighting games ligt.
