Hitman 2 will release on November 13, 2018. The release date was confirmed in a trailer from the game’s reveal event earlier today. As well as that date, the trailer revealed what seems to be the game’s first contract.
For the most part, the trailer seems to show a game that should be very recognisable if you played the first season of Hitman, which released in 2016. While you have particular targets for each mission, there are multiple different ways that those targets can be eliminated. In this situation, you’re taking out a race driver named Sierra Knox.
Here's everything we know about Hitman 2.
The trailer offers three major ways you can get to Knox, with varying levels of subtelty. You can disguise yourself as pit crew and compromise Knox’s suspension, sending her car spinning off the road. For a similar but more explosive solution, you can disguise yourself as pit crew and sneak a bomb into the car, which might be very obvious, but allows you to get well clear of the crime scene.
It’s not clear whether developer IO Interactive will be retaining the episodic format of ther first game, or releasing the whole thing in one go.
